Features and Benefits:

• This general purpose Permatex clear RTV silicone seals, bonds, repairs, mends, and secures glass, metal, plastics, fabric, vinyl, weather-stripping, and vinyl tops.
• It can protect and repair electrical wiring and may be applied to horizontal or vertical surfaces.
• It's designed for both interior and exterior use. It may be used to attach and seal Guy Line End Caps onto Phillystran.
• However, this sealant it is NOT recommended for use on electronic devices. This sealant contains acetic acid which accelerates curing time and gives it that unmistakable odor of vinegar, but it also adversely affects circuit board traces and soldered connections.
• For electronic devices that require sealing, use the DX Engineering Approved Sealant, Permatex 82180 Ultra Black RTV Silicone, which is available here, from DX Engineering.
